Guru Purnima Celebration

The Yoga Society of San Francisco invites you to participate in Guru Purnima, a day dedicated to cultivating devotion and gratitude to the Guru while recommitting to self-realization and Divine Service.

Join us for a day of reflection and celebration giving thanks for the universal blessings that have been presented to us. The day of Guru Purnima is traditionally the time when seekers offer the Guru (a spiritual teacher or mentor) their gratitude and receive his blessings. Guru Purnima is also considered an especially beneficial day to practice yogic sadhana (daily spiritual practice) and meditation.

Followed by this there will be some potluck/dinner. Please stay and also join us at the dinner table. Thank you.
